This summer seemed to go on forever and the weather was so warm with it too here in the south of England. Its summers like this that make me thankful I live in this beautiful area.
I was lucky enough to spend a lot of time exploring the Jurassic coastline of Dorset and I spent a lot of my time at Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door to name a few.
I met a lot of photographers during the summer who came to the local area from London and further a field to visit and see the coastal beauty for themselves and I have been inspired very much by their work. As a result, I have found myself trying to share more colour in my work and I think the scenery lends itself to this so well.
Now it seems that autumn has come and gone in a blink of an eye and winter is now upon us. I am embarking on a new photographic challenge over the next few months. Having been gifted a Canon AE-1 film camera from my Father, and played about with some colour film, I am going to try to shoot some black and white landscapes. I'm excited to get going and see where this leads me.
